Replication is very important in research. That same
basic concept or problem
statement can be studied
with different research hypotheses. A single problem
statement can be developed by applying more than one
operational definition,
thus resulting in several research
hypotheses. Testing those hypotheses provides
multiple
tests of the original research statement; that is, it provides
replication.
