Practice effects occur as a result of the participant’s

his or her responding in later conditions.
This might be due to growing sophistication or fatigue.
Carryover
effects occur when the characteristics of one
condition affect performance in
subsequent conditions.
They are a function of the characteristics of as
particular
condition or a combination of conditions. Both practice
and
carry-over effects are types of a general class
of effects called sequence
effects.
