Correct

In time-series designs, the research is continued over
time during which other factors not controlled or recognized
might occur and confound the results (history) or the
researchers might inadvertently alter their measurement
procedure (instrumentation). These are potential problems
in any research carried out over extended time. Adding
a control group would provide adequate control for these factors.
