You can change the type of variable by clicking in the Type column. A small gray box with three dots appears. Click on that box to see the Variable Type box shown here. The variable "ID" produces a numeric designation for each participant in the study. Therefore, we will maintain the Numeric Type but change the number of decimal places to 0. To do that, use the mouse to highlight the number 2 in the small box designating the number of decimal places and type in 0. Then click OK.
