It is hard to believe this is true given what we know
now, but indeed even
psychologists believed that women
were less capable than men. It is worth noting
that this
belief was not based on data, but more on tenacity than
anything else.
Fortunately, the science of psychology
eventually produced the data, which
gradually led to a
successful challenge of this position.
