Totally untrue. Scientific research can be carried out
virtually anywhere. We have a friend who does much of
his science while fishing in an old rowboat. The essence of
science, remember, is its thinking processes, and those
can be engaged in anywhere, even while fishing. Pardon the
bad joke, but scientists are just hooked on thinking.
